I have a daughter that I am unsure of. If she has it, it is only a mild form. I heard that sometimes they can grow out of it and am wondering if maybe I should wait to get it diagnosed. If there is no cure for it I would like for her to learn to deal with the way she is instead of having an excuse to fall back on. I hope this doesnt sound harsh and you get what I am meaning.
She has speech problems
she stims (?) alot (makes noises )
lack of eye contact (getting better)
she has a twin they are 4 years old and it is getting to the point that you can notice a difference but it is not all the time. She has got better at a lot of things in the past 6 mo. She has started preschool and being around other children I believed has helped. She doesn’t have problems interacting with them like some autistic children do. Please give me your thoughts if you have experience in this field or have children with autism. I just recently realized what autism actually was and would like feedback
obviously, I care about her or I wouldn’t be asking this question. My child is far from abused. She is taking speech classes at an early intervention school also. Are they allowed to discuss if they think she has autism? I heard they were not allowed to voice their opinions.
